A rare opportunity is available for an Equipment Service Technician to join the Equipment Aftersales team.   This is an interesting and challenging role that will provide service, support and ongoing maintenance to a wide range of devices and technologies.  You will gain experience in scanning, CADCAM and 3D printing technology in an industry that is rapidly adopting digital workflows.

 

For our Equipment Service Technicians no two days are the same.  This role is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on variety.

 

Our Aftersales team are often on site with our customers and play a vital role in providing an exceptional customer experience for our Dental customers.  For this reason we are seeking someone who enjoys both the technical and customer relationship aspects of a role like this.

 

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Installing computer software that relates to networked dental equipment;
  • Performing repairs and installations at the premises of our customers;
  • Remote IT Support;
  • Conducting diagnostics for repairs;
  • Performing repairs brought in from customers to Henry Schein at the site workshop;
  • Liaison with manufacturers (often international) for support;
  • Administration of job notes and customer ticketing / CRM.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • An electronic/electrical or mechanical background;
  • Electrical Appliance Service qualification (EAS or EASQ) or relevant qualification; 
  • Previous experience using CADCAM;
  • Proven experience with dental milling machine hardware repairs and workflow (preferred); 
  • High aptitude and initiative for trouble shooting and diagnosis;
  • Hands on experience working with equipment aftersales support;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus;
  • IT knowledge and experience.
